HOYB End of Season Update
by posted 06/11/2018

HOYB Families,

Thank you for coming out for out end of season celebration and supporting our flagpole dedication our final games, our fundraising and our Buddy Ball ceremony!  The weather held out, and a good time was had by all!

Our playoff winners were the M70 Suns, the M60 Nationals and the Farm Chiefs!  Great job!

The 50/50 raffle, sponsored by the 8YO All Star/Select team was won by a 8YO parent!  The 8YO team thanks you for your support!

The June 23rd Nationals "player in the lineup tunnel" was won by Ben D!  His family is very excited to see him on June 23 at the game!

I thank all of you for the warm wishes this weekend.  I will be mostly engaged till my term expires in November 2018, but will be transitioning a number of things through the fall season.  If you have any desires to be part of the next future of HOYB, please reach out to any of the board members listed on our Contact page.  You will find many interesting and exciting things to support as part of the board.

Our fundraising efforts did not quite cover the refrigerator purchase.  If you would like to make a donation to HOYB, you can use this LINK to make a tax free donation.  Your generosity will be put to scholarships, capital improvements, and this season, the remaining balance on the fridge.  We look forward to more all league celebarations where we can take advantage of the investments we've made at Haley Smith and Bready park.

Registration for the fall will open soon.  Fall Ball is an excellent way to grow skills and tryout the next league up. We combine leagues as many kids play other sports in the fall, which we recommend!  But for a modest price, you can still keep your baseball skills alive and scrimmage all season, with no standings kept.  Visit our website on or around July 1 for our early bird pricing

I hope everyone has a wonderful last week of school!
